BridgeCare Institute for Health Research was established in 2025 by a multidisciplinary team of Ghanaian researchers. Recognizing the stark health disparities and the lack of a dedicated health research hub in the Northern Region, they founded the institute as a focal point for excellence and collaboration. Its formation was driven by the belief that locally led research is essential for creating effective and sustainable health solutions for the communities of Ghana.
